Frequently Asked Questions
Can you copy or recreate an existing ring?
Yes. We 3D scan the original with our 16-million-point jewelry scanner, rebuild it as an editable CAD model, and print a castable wax pattern — identical to the original or modified however you like (resized, new stones, different metal).
Do you cast the metal too?
We deliver casting-ready wax patterns and work seamlessly with your casting house — sprued trees prepared to their specifications. Ask us about full-service arrangements for your project.
Can you engrave inside a ring band?
Yes. Our fiber laser engraves names, dates, and messages inside bands in gold, silver, platinum, and stainless steel without marking the outside of the piece.
What files do jewelers and designers receive?
STL, 3DM, or STEP models plus preview renders — ready for your own printer, caster, or design system. Trade work for jewelers is welcome.
How fast is turnaround?
Most CAD models and wax prints are ready in 1–3 business days. Engraving on supplied pieces is often same-day or next-day. Rush service is available.
